I once had a wild turkey fly up and towards my truck. He came within a few feet of doing that to my windshield. It was a hell of a code brown moment.

I had the same situation with an owl. It was at night and I spooked a rabbit out of hiding. I slowed down so I wouldn’t hit it and an owl took advantage of the situation. I could have tickled his toes if it weren’t for the windshield between us.

An owl flew into the side of my car last year.
My truck eats birds. I've had to pull 2 out of the grille and those are the only ones that got stuck.
